Welcome to the new UMTV website
We have updated our site and added a number of new features

Top 10
Within the top 10 section of the site you can specify which genre of music you are particularly interested in by clicking on one of the genre tabs, this will allow you to see the top 10 releases for that genre without have to leave the homepage, you can then click on any of the packshots to bring up the tracklist, listen to the samples and add them to your playlist.

My Playlist
You can now create your own unique playlists on our site.
On every page there is an option to add a selection of the featured tracks.
Every time you click 'add' it will automatically add that track to your playlist on the homepage.
Once you have created a playlist, you can listen to your playlist by selecting 'Listen to playlist' on the homepage, this will open your playlist within the UMTV audio player pop up.

Enter Your Playlist
Think your playlist is good? Why not add it to our playlist section and let other people listen to it and vote for it!
The top playlist each month will win a selection of UMTV albums!
To enter your playlist, click on the 'Enter Playlist' section on the homepage.
You can also design and add your own artwork to accompany your playlist using our artwork design tool in the playlist section.
Once you have created your artwork and chosen your tracks you can upload it to the 'view playlist' section.
When your playlist has been added, it will then be visible to everyone who visits the website and they can then vote for it from 1 to 5.

Sending Demos
If you have a demo that you would like us to listen to then please send a CD with a covering note to the address below.
Please also include a description of the music, gig info (if any) and details of any promotional activity.
If the demo is of interest we will come back to you however we cannot get back to everyone that sends demos in so please do not expect an automatic response.

Licensing Music
If you wish to license a track from Universal Music TV - please email infoumtv@umusic.com with the track title, artist name and proposed use. A member of the licensing team will be in touch.

Technical Faults
If you are experiencing a technical problem with your CD then the first point of call should be to return it to the retailer that you purchased it from in exchange for another. If the problem persists then please let us know and we will do our best to rectify.

Karaoke/Bonus Discs
If you are experiencing problems with bonus CD software or karaoke discs then please email infoumtv@umusic.com with details of the problem. Please note that Karaoke CDs will only play in a CD player or PC - this means they are audio only and the lyrics can be found in the booklet. If the Karaoke disc is named as a DVD then this will allow you to play the DVD in your DVD player and follow the words on the screen.

Enhanced CDs
Instructions as follows:
Windows: Insert the CD in to the CD Rom drive and the CD will autoload. Follow on-screen instructions, installing QuickTime if not already installed.

Macintosh: Insert the CD in to the CD Rom drive. Double click the 'Enhanced' icon. Follow on-screen instructions, installing QuickTime if not already installed. More information is in the readme file on the CD.
