FIRST BRAND NEW ALBUM IN 15 YEARS

RELEASED: 10 NOVEMBER 2008

On 10 November 2008, Decca will release ‘Let It Be Me’ the first brand new album by Jason Donovan for 15 years. Inspired by the late 1950’s and early 1960’s, ‘Let It Be Me’ pays homage to an era of romance.

Co-produced by Paul Neehan and Brian Rawling, the latter having worked with Cher, Tina Turner and Enrique Iglesias, the collection is Jason’s most accomplished and mature album yet. Featuring both brand new tracks and cover versions, ‘Let It Be Me’ was recorded entirely live to achieve an authentic sound and seamlessly merge new compositions with Jason’s interpretations of classics from the late 50’s and early 60’s.

The album of pop classics – ‘Smoke Gets In Your Eyes’, ‘Love Letters’ and ‘Rhythm of The Rain’ to name just a few of the 17 tracks - also features two songs that Jason has co-written, ‘Dreamboats And Petticoats’...
